Software, Surfing, and Startups

I don't want to pay for Google Drive storage

For the first time, I’m willing to manage my data.

AI is making this feel reasonable.

I hit my 1TB limit with Google and needed to upgrade.

How hard would it be to get a server that I can upload data to that has a UX comparable to Drive.

AI one shots this.

This forever changes the calculus of what gets made. And it allows me to do a bunch more that I would never be able to do before.

Ex: Website and subdomains.

Looking forward to exploring more. But my guess is that Subscription models die. Hardware goes open source. And more value goes into end users.

Eight Sleep and Whoop - I’m looking at you. Hard to justify service margin when software is this cheap.
